Ok I have two marathons booked for 2013:

22/06/2013 Trail Marathon Wales, a trail marathon in Snowdonia (mountainous part of the UK)
www.trailmarathonwales.com

26/10/2013 Snowdonia Marathon, predominantly road marathon also in Snowdonia.
www.snowdoniamarathon.com

I am currently planning my schedule and looking for challenging races preferably trail and hilly. Focusing on TMW I currently have.

26/01/2013 Iceman 16k (Trail)

24/03/2013 Leith Hill Half Marathon (Trail and Hills)

20/04/2013 Offa’s Orror 20k (Trail and Hills)

25/05/2013 London BUPA 10k (Road:ohwell: )

I am looking for a few more interesting half marathonish runs leading up to both marathons. As mentioned prefersbly hilly and trail if you know of any good races feel free to share. I live in South London but as you can see always happy to travel for a good race.

Thanks in advance
Gareth

The timing might be too far ahead of your full mara, but on March 17th is the inaugral Warwick Castle half marathon. It's road (country and villages) but it has quite a lot of hills. over 180m of climb. I'm all signed up and I have a PDF of the course map if you want it.

Warwick is 1 hour from where the M25 meets the M40, or less than 1 hr 15 by train from Marylebone.

You'll have to wait for 2014, but a trip to South Africa for the Comrades Marathon is worth the experience.

Hi. I'm looking forward for my first marathon in May 5, 2013. Puerto Rico Marathon and Half Marathon at San Juan. I already run a couple of half marathons so I began to train to this one.

    Good luck to all
