Warning: Hair loss!

Turns out my Primatine Mist that I take during the Summer for asthma and generic Claritin D both contain ingredients that can make you go bald if you take them long enough.

Just thought I'd warn everyone so you don't end up like me, with at least an inch of length lost, a much thinner head of hair, and a much wider part.

Sucks, but glad I figured out what was causing it. No more of that stuff for me. Sudafed is my new friend (although I can't say it helps much with the runny nose, sad to say).

Oh my! That sucks. My hair is fine and I can't afford to lose it. My problem is living in a dry climate and trying to prevent breakage.

Yeah, I have trouble with breakage, too. I usually keep it in a braid to help with that and I try to remember not to let it hang between my back and chair as that causes more breakage.

Right! I also wrap my hair in a scarf at night. It really helps my hair not tangle so much so when I brush it in the morning I don't lose as much while brushing.

    I haven't tried a scarf, I might have to!

This is why I steer clear of loads of hair products! So much in them! Nothing wrong with just some shampoo :)

Yeah, I should stop using the cheap stuff, too. You would think that shampoo and conditioner would be safe, since it's actually for hair, but it's getting to where I don't trust any of it. Besides, one person might be able to use a 99 cent product for years with no issue while someone else might have a weird reaction to something in it.

I swear I should just go to coconut oil and vinegar.

Can you list which ingredients are the harmful ones?

I take about 6 Allergy/Asthma medications a day, so it would be good for me to keep an eye on. :)
