Greetings from a new member!

So, I just joined myfitnesspal and excited to have found this group. I'm around 5' 9.5" (seem to be shrinking since college) and since having a baby in 2009 struggling with new problem areas - especially my tummy which was never an issue no matter my weight. I'd always gained in my butt and thighs and been able to easily run it off when going into high 140s or 150s. FInally diagnosed in November with underactive thyroid (no idea how long) and determined to stop this yo-yo (summer I was 141 and now I'm at 154). I'm very uncomfortable at this weight and 134-142 seems to be the best range for me.... eating paleo with dairy got me to 141 (plus yoga and pilates) but since Halloween cheating has definitely caught up with me. The thyroid hit hard too and I stopped working out in November. This weekend, I'm kick off an intense routine of diet and exercise - including p-90x. I'll need all the support I can find and plan to stay active with groups/others. I welcome new friends and hope i can lend support and cheers to you as well.
