I'm sorry that I 'borrowed' the title of my post; but I think you have an excellent idea with that!

I have set many goals over the past many years and managed to give up on them probably before January was ever over. I wasn't going to make any resolutions this year based on my past history; but I saw the new group and am in the positive mode of 'change is necessary to succeed' so here I am.

13 goals/resolutions for 2013

1-Be kinder to myself
2-28 acts of random kindness
3-Less gossip, more empathy
4-Reach my goal weight of 135#
5-Rehab rotator cuff to 100% mobility
6-Share daily gratitude-"Less complaining; more thanking"
7-Work out 30 min Mon-Fri when possible
8-Be active at least 15 min Sat-Sun when possible
9-Be pro-active on home business
10-Read positive, mind-challenging material
11-Tell friends and family "I love you" more
12-Phone friends & family 1x/month
13-Pick myself up, dust myself off, and do it all over again!
