I wanted to start this topic, to talk about and share coping mechanisms! ^.^ I find that there are 2 things that really help me:
1. Fluidly writing, everyday. I came to find that there were so many little things floating around in my mind, that I didn't even realize were being processed, until I wrote them down. #Metacognitionforthewin
&
2. COLORING. Oddly enough, coloring when I am triggered to the point of rage or dissociation somehow helps to focus and calm me. I think it's because I am such a perfectionist that i start to concentrate on the colors I'm using, and whatnot.![:) :)](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/smile.png)
What helps/has helped you guys out?!
