Carb loading questions

I was wondering if any of you would carb load for a 10 mile race? It will be my first long distance race, or is it normally for halfs and marathons?
I am up to 7.5miles so far and have felt ok, just needed water. I am going to try for 8/9 miles this weekend so i guess that will help me decide.

I am wondering the same thing. I just finished a 10k without any carbs and felt fine during the race. However I felt very hungry immediately afterwards. For me I think extra carbs might help my energy level in any race much longer than 10k.0
