Where is your favorite place to Paddle in North Carolina?

I have a few favorite places to paddle in North Carolina. One of my favorites is paddleing the Cape Fear River from Lillington to Erwin, NC. This is a ten mile trip down river to the NC 217 bridge. It has Class I, II & III rapids, but also has sections of more tranquil water.

    Love to kayak the Jordan Lake area in the spring and fall. Less traffic and allows for LONG runs without have to worry about other boaters. The has many rest stops (with facilities :-) and numerious launch points.
