My name's Barbara and I come from a long line of military. Every generation of my family has served in the armed forces since at least the American Civil War (Grandpa Otto for the North). So far, I'm the only one in my family who is joining besides my younger brother, but he may not make it so I truly feel it's my job to step in the role.
I've done my research for years and truly feel that the Marines is where I'm going to fit in the best. I'm looking to lose about 60lbs to enlist, and I'm more than confident that I'll do it.
I'll be doing it this year, and now I'm getting into shape to do it. I'm truly at level 0, but like most people say, you can only go up from the bottom.
