Pantyhose AKA Enemy #1

I hate pantyhose.I truly believe its only good for robbing banks and straining fruit.
However I live in Chicago. Its brutally cold. Makes me want to crawl into a TaunTaun and sleep for a few months. (bonus points if you get that reference)
Tonight I am taking my new Pour La Victoire pumps out on a date. Do I suck it up and just wear my long wool coat? Or do I don the dreaded silk bindings of hell?

    I feel your pain, literally. I love wearing dresses with tights to work in the winter but I can't find a single pair that fits right. Every pair I have cuts off the circulation in my waist (the band is excruciating) though some are too loose in the hips legs...


    My advice, thigh-high stockings. I've worn them with a garter to work under my dress and it keeps my tummy comfy. Your date may appreciate that too. :bigsmile:

    My dress is way too short for thigh-highs. And my date is literally the shoes. I am taking the shoes out on a date. You know, to get to know one another. Bond. Teach them to love my toes and show them off ;)

    Ha, I got it. Just read too quickly.

    Assuming it's as cold THERE as it is here, 2 hours south, I would do the pantyhose.. Plus I think it is always harder to wear heels with hose (slippage) so maybe it will help get you used to them???
