Amazed at how great I'm feeling overall and in a short time. I've been concerned about the amount of food that I need to eat and whether it would result in an increase in the scale but I've seen the opposite. My guess is that my body was going into starvation mode. I'm eating 400-500 calories more per day but finding the balance of carb/protein/fat makes it so much more sustainable.
Social situations and running around like crazy without a lot of time to stop and eat are the most challenging for making the best food choices as well as getting enough nutrition. Today was the hardest as we went to the movies and didn't eat dinner until almost 9pm. I hadn't planned well and was STARVING at the movies and by dinner.
So... If you're going to a movie or you're on the road and eating out, how do you handle it? What would you get there or what would you do so that you don't feel deprived?0
