Morning sickness and exercising

Has anyone else experienced bad morning (all day!) sickness. What helped? This is the first time I've been this active during my pregnancy and I want to make sure I have enough energy to workout and give baby and myself the necessary nutrients. If you were able to eat something relatively healthy that helped please let me know. Since this pregnancy was a HUGE surprise I wasn't down to my goal weight yet and would like to keep the weight gain relatively low. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated!

Congrats and I know how you feel! I'm 18 weeks and the nausea/puking is starting to get better.

For me, I had to stay away from any food with strong flavors (citrus, spicy, etc) or weird textures...bland carbs were the best for me. I've learned everyone is different too...some people don't puke at all...I puked throughout my whole pregnancy last time and I am just starting to keep water down this time around.

    How far along are you?

I'm 7/8 weeks and this is my fourth. I have it every time but for my last pregnancies I wasn't very active or concerned with what I was eating ( a big reason why I've gained so much weight ;). I've found that the bland carbs are what works for me but it doesn't' seem very nutritious. I want a plain bagel most mornings which is unlike what I was eating before I got pregnant. I'm trying to be healthy this time around and don't want to get into the mindset that I can eat whatever I want because I'm pregnant. Right now I'm only feeling OK for about 3 hours in the afternoon. I know it will pass but getting to that point is the difficult part :) thanks for the advice

Drink tons of water, make sure you've eaten something like an hour before (fruit or something), I have found these helped, ESPECIALLY water!
