Yeah, that would be a dealbreaker for me. Many red flags, not saying any are true but these are what would go through my mind:
1. Is he still hung up on her? Issues with closure? If not, why hold on to the pics.
2. Is he just after me for a *kitten*? If a man collects pics or doesn't delete them, I couldn't see him as commitment material.
3. Will some other woman see my pics sometime down the road? No explanation needed on that one.
4. How often does he get off on pics of his exes? If I'm in a relationship, I want to be the only woman he's thinking of.
Wow never thought of all that. To myself I consider it no big deal still having them.. Nothing to do with being hung up on them but no amount of trying to explain that to someone would probably work.

In your defense though, I have pictures of my ex's as well... but I just keep them in a separate area on my external drive... newer stuff is on my actual computer.... that way it cannot ever be misconstrued.....

Mmm...hmmm. Yes..I am actually quite interested to know if my recent ex still has kept two...okay maybe four interesting photos of me. He would be the type to offer to delete them if I even brought it up....but if he did already that is an even more clear indication we are really done. I would be sad if he did. I want to think of him still wanting me and missing what he no longer has. Hmm...think I might be a narcissist.
Honestly though...they are not bad photos. Fairly classy of course...but certainly beyond G rated. Also possible I have a tiny exhibitionist streak...most notably observed by you all on Fridays.

Well, I live my life treating people the way I'd like to be treated. And my partners know this. So, if I can manage to have a pics of my ex b/fs that I would never show to a single soul, then I expect he has the same respect for me!
And I'm not even talking about porn video/pics. I'm talking about the odd pic on holiday where I'm topless or he's got fake glasses on his junk to make me laugh (lol this still makes me giggle), or is nakedness now porn??...............Jeez guys, you need to relax and enjoy life instead of worrying about what sick/bitter people do!!

With all due respect, once you get into a serious, sexual, adult relationship, your mind may change.
It might not... I only single you out because of the other girls that said they never would it's simply something that they think is morally against their code - but you keep saying "weird" and "gross" which are not the words used by someone that enjoys sex. You stop seeing the anaconda as something icky and start seeing it as a good time once you get down and dirty with the right guy
