Day 1 of our 21 Day Mind Body & Soul Detox & Renewal

Hello Everyone,

This is Day1 of our 21 Day Mind Body & Soul Detox & Renewal. Because the 1st 3 days are the most crucial days of a fast of this magnitude and are probably the toughest, especially since most of us didn't gradually ween ourselves off of our regular foods.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:
A)You may experience headaches - Remedies: 1)Ginger Tea - 1" ginger root in 1cup boiling water 2) Peppermint Oil (Sprouts/Henry's, Mother's Market) rub along your hairline.

B) Refrain from strenuous exercise. Brisk Walking or Stretching exercises are recommended. the link below is very helpful.

We are doing a strick version of Daniel Fast (Information about what foods you can eat & FAQ can be found at www.Daniel-fast.com). This website also has recipes that can be used for the Fast. Please NOTE that at the direction of our Certified Physical Trainer, we're encouraging our group to refrain from salt, sugar & pepper (these ingredients are listed in some of the site's recipes).
