I like Zest as its a mixture of Health and Beauty. I find all the health magazines get a bit repetitive. You can get them digitally if you have an ipad etc.
Perhaps skim through them in a shop and see what you think.0 -
I work in the industry so not only have I read them, I know people who write for all of them. It depends what you are after...
Zest is great as the previous poster said for beauty as well as Health. It is about wellbeing generally rather than just fitness. They run some nice events too like cookery classes and fun 5k and 10k events that are about moving around and enjoying yourself rather than how fast you complete them.
Women's Health is far more fitness focused and I think possibly skews to a younger audience than Zest.
Women's Fitness is even more fitness focused and I find it a bit scary...
Unless you are already a gym bunny, I would recommend Zest as a magazine.
If you are a gym bunny, Women's Health would be better.
If you like running, Runners World is excellent and they do a lot of women specific stuff
Hope that helps!0 -
I like Bodyfit - very fitness focused0

@susannahsutto thanks for the breakdown!! I used to get Rosemary Conley's Diet & Fitness mag, but knocked that on the head a few years back now. it got v boring!!
Will look at Zest and Runners World, since I've recently gotten into running

Check out their women's guide to running, 3rd one down I think. I love it. I did a half marathon using it. I also love it because it is pink :-S

Thanks for all the input! What an ace industry to work in @susannahsutto, jealous!
I think I will go for Zest then, best of both worlds....0 -
The down side is when it is model casting day and I have to walk past all the models in reception... normally when I am carrying unhealthy food!!0

I've not read any of these, but I have just received the following email from Living Social:
Zest Magazine
Want to get up and go for it in 2013? Get a head start with some positive reading matter: a 12-issue subscription to Zest magazine for a sprightly £14 (a £43.20 value).

I regularly buy them, plus bodyfit to check them out. Except I don't think read Zest.
Women's fitness would be my favourite, but I'd still have to spend a long time with my read pen and ripping out entire pages before I'd be happy with it.0
