Endomondo and Polar H7

Currently I have an ageing polar m21 and chest strap which I use to record the calories burnt whilst on an exercise bike/ rowing machine.
I'm considering replacing it with the H7 (I have an iphone5) to therefore auto upload my exercise data to Mfp.

I'm not a runner so most of the coaching and map stuff will probably be of little use (I have a fitbit to record my lunchtime walks).

Reading here the sync, like fitbit isn't without it's issues, but on the whole seems OK. The only thing is how often does the internal battery need to be replaced on the H7, given my polar chest strap has been going for over 10 years!

I am looking at polar as both bits of kit I have are polar compatible. I prefer to keep an eye on my heart rate on the rower display for example than on the watch all the time.

Thanks in advance!

I can't say with the H7, but I have the other version and the battery is still going after about a month where I have done exercise most days. If it uses the same battery I picked up a pack of 3 for $1 a few days back since the battery indicator was showing it was down to a little below half. I have not had to change it yet though.

I got my H7 early November and use it 3-4 days a week with my iPhone 5. The battery is still going strong and as previously mentioned they are cheap to replace.

The H7 connects to most gym equipment too including my home treadmill :)
