Does anyone else use these? I will use one every few days to see what sort of results I get relative to what/how much I'm eating and my activity levels.
Today's turned DARK purple instantly. I've never seen it that extreme. Given the #s corresponding to the match samples I'm thinking I'm ~100-120.

Keto stixs . . . I use then more than I should, just to prove to myself that I am still in ketosis . . . I guess? I know the next step is to use a blood monitor??? But I and not rich, will probably use one as we get closer to racing season. I guess I am waiting for the breathalyzer version . . .

I had read before that one can show ketosis simply from reduced calorie intake, too. So that's not all bad. The dark color could show that I am for sure eating a deficit. The beauty is I don't FEEL like I'm eating a deficit. Running on an intake of 1500 calories/day when eating "normal" carbs would have me ravenous. While ketogenic I'm only very slightly hungry here and there. Not enough to make me feel agitated and miserable, just enough to make me feel like I'm just slightly less than fully satisfied. Very manageable.0 -

Yesterday it was deep purple before I went to bed, didn't eat after or much hours before, and I woke up in the morning and it was light red??? Does that mean, my body used the ketones as fuel while I slept? I think it is better to use blood work, just pricy!0

I know I'm doing something right when they're at least light pink, but it's really interested to see how long it takes me to go from a day of eating crap back into ketosis when I cut out the junk and go back to 20-30 net carbs. Seems to be about 36-48 hours.0
