Hello! I'm Jessie and I'm currently 21.5 weeks along with my second pregnancy. My diary is closed right now (while I get back in the habit of tracking...) but I've also gained almost 20 pounds (to be honest I'm not watching the scale except at dr appts).
Anyways, are you due in May? 23 weeks sounds about right so if you are, then you should join the May 2013 group! It's a pretty active group - the women are really supportive and most of us are going through the same milestones.0 -
Hello I'm 23-25 weeks and just got a stern talking to by my doc yesterday for being up 21lbs. I'm cracking down and cutting out most of the junk while keeping my calories in my recommended range. My diary is open to my friends, so please feel free to add.0

I'll be 23 weeks on Friday! I've gained 25 lbs, and I just started feeling good enough to eat normally again. I am embarrassed by my diary right now, but I was a model of good behavior before the pregnancy, so I'm hoping to get back my groove now that I'm feeling better. Feel free to add me!0

you and I are in the same boat.. I was the most strict person when it came to eating right before I got healthy and now I am getting back into the game.0 -
I'm 23.5 weeks (due date of May 5) and have gained 20 pounds so far. I've just started into tracking my food again, since I fell WAAAAAY off that wagon in the first few months! I'm not worrying too much about macros or anything; just sticking to my calorie goal. I've also been trying to work in exercise again since my exhaustion kept me from it for the first 17ish weeks.0

I was at the doctor today, and usually my scale at home reads higher than theirs, but then again I had my clothes and boots on when I was getting weighed at the doctor's office. Their scale read 4 lbs higher than mine! My gain at 20.5 weeks is 23 according to their scale, 19 according to mine. My doctor didn't say a word, and I know she would because she did last time I was pregnant. Oh, well. What's four pounds, really? It'll come off later. But next time I'm taking' my shoes off!!!0

Ha ha, I have been taking off boots, pants, sweaters, and anything else that might weigh anything! Luckily the clinic's scale is in the bathroom, so there's enough privacy to do that! Call me crazy but I want my weight gain to be just baby + me, not all those pounds of winter clothes!0

At my drs office the scale is out in the hallway. All I can take off is my shoes. So I always wear leggings and a tank top for when I have to go to the dr lol!0

LOL! I always try to wear lighter clothes and I take off my boots, jacket, and purse.
Really though, I wish they didn't place so much emphasis on weight gain when there are no pre-existing medical conditions and it is still a reasonable gain.0 -
I'm 22 weeks, due May 15th. I lost 100lbs last year, but have gained 18. I started watching my calories again and have lost 4, so I'm at a net gain of 14.
It is SO hard to pass up cravings! I'm just trying to make sure that they fit into my calories for the day!0 -
I'm glad to see there are other woman who've lost large amounts of weight and are now pregnant0
