    I work at a Jesuit school and I took a pilgrimage through Spain and Italy following the life of St. Ignatius. One of my favorite prayers is the Prayer for Generosity:

    "Lord, teach me to be generous; teach me to serve you as you deserve; to give and not to count the cost, to fight and not to heed the wounds, to toil and not to seek for rest, to labor and not ask for reward, save that of knowing I do your will". Amen.

    There is a wonderful series of books on how to practice Ignatian spirituality written by Timothy M Gallagher: ignatian prayer and meditation, the examen, discernment of spirits, etc. Well-written, easy to understand and practice.

    I love the Spiritual Exercises. I was in the cave in Manresa where he wrote them! It was so cool.
