The stubborn last 5 pounds....

I've often heard that the last 5 to 10 pounds are the most difficult to lose. I want to know why?? Is it physiological or psychological? I have been hovering around 130 pounds for several weeks now. I did fluctuate up and down a couple of pounds with the holidays. I have 8 weeks until my beach vacation and would really like to hit my goal weight of 125 before then. Any tips on losing the last 5? Should I just keep doing what I'm doing? My calorie goal is set at 1200/day, and I eat back my exercise calories. Some days I do go over a little bit, but not too much. I work out almost every day, running or Body Pump.

Not sure myself. Maybe try some different exercise routines? I've hit a bit of a plateau myself and want to knock my momentum back into gear.

I am not an expert but I have heard that you have to change everything you do, change some of the things your eating try switching out some of your favorite foods with other low cal healthy foods. If you exercise alot change some routine exercises to ones you've never tried before. Hope this helps.

I think sometimes people get stuck because that's their ideal weight
otherwise its because the smaller body needs less calories to maintain so more exercising and careful diet needed
