What do after consuming gluten?

I've been gluten free, for quite a long time now. However, a few hours ago, I struggled with a binge episode. Before I could stop myself, I consumed a few brownies (obviously made with wheat flower), and a pasta dish my mother had made. Oddly enough, I've come to find that I am able to avoid gluten no problem, but during binge episodes I tend to consume gluten in the heat of my self destructive moment.
Anyways, is there anything that you guys do, to help your body after consuming gluten? I struggle a lot with the intestinal/digestive symptoms, which quite frankly drive me up a wall. I've already had some ginger tea and psyllium husk, to help speed up my digestion, along with drinking plenty of water.
Are there any other suggestions that you guys have? Anything you have would be greatly appreciated. Please and thank you!

I would crawl into my bed, put my head under my covers and pray for it to be over quickly lol.
If I ate a brownie I would be down for weeks. I ate a few gummy candies at Christmas time that has wheat in them (I didn't realize) and it was a full 2 weeks to recover and feel good again.0 -
Yeah.....It's 1 PM where I am, and I'm still curled up under the covers, even though I need to return to school in a few hours. I was up all night going to and from the bathroom, so I barely got any sleep and my stomach is absolutely killing me. -_-0

Some people find pepto helps or similar products, I have a stash of anti-nausea pills from my doc that don't do much with the stomach issues but they knock me out and so at least I'm sleeping rather than in pain.
Make sure the tea you're drinking is GF (not all tea is) and maybe a hot pad. I'm also a big fan of just eating rice cooked in GF broth while I wait to feel better.
That much gluten would put me out of commission for a long time, I hope you recover faster than that.0 -

I am actually rather holistic, so I don't tend to take medications for things like nausea. I did take some ginger tea, which helped subdue the nausea, and it felt this morning as if my digestion has at least begun to work. -_-
I check the labels of everything, before I buy them! I'll double check just in case, just to make sure.
I didn't think about the hot pad, but I don't think I can have one at school (dorm regulations are strict where I go), which is where I'll be in an hour. I'll take a hot bath and see if that helps a bit though!
Thank you for your suggestions.0 -
I've not found anything that works beyond time. I just wait it out0

Tonic water can help, in addition to the suggestions others have made.
Personally, I have no desire to eat anything that makes me sick, and am always baffled at the people in my life (esp. my hubby) who eat things that they know are going to make them sick and in pain. I just can't fathom it. I don't know if it is because the first thing that I had to give up (meat and dairy) would cause me agonizing pain, and I would be throwing up for three days. Giving that up was easy, and maybe after that I just figured I could give up anything that made me sick without difficulty. Or maybe it is in my genetics or my upbringing, because my dad is the same way and can't understand why anyone would eat something they knew would make them sick.0
