I guess I'll start the thread for the new week! Did Fire 55EZ,Core 20 and Stretch 10 today. I am DONE with Week 13, and I did all of the workouts!! Yay!!

I did fire 55 ez today too! I looked at my scale this morning and I have no idea why. It just makes me mad everytime I get tom I gain like 5lbs and I don't lose that till 2 weeks later. Does this happen to anyone else? I only have a accurate reading of my weight on the 3 week of the month. I also talked to my hubby about me getting my hormones checked and he was like you need to clean up your eating habits first. I know I am not the best eater but I am eating a deficet so I should be losing right? At least thats what you read. My mom got me the book clean eating by tosa something I can't remeber her name right now. I guess I'd better get reading it. Keep pushing play ladies!0

Vin, I have read that book about Clean Eating. It's an adjustment at first if you're used to eating convenient processed food but I have noticed a difference in how I feel when I eat clean and when I don't.
It doesn't hurt to get your hormones checked if you have experienced problems before. Read the book when you get a chance. Good ideas in there in how to get started. You can do it!0 -

Fire 60 for me today. I think it's now probably my favorite Fire workout.
Vini- I have been gaining and losing the same lb for the past 3 weeks now, while staying within my calorie limit and eating pretty healthy... I also gained a whole freaking inch on my waist this week... but lost an inch on my thighs. My body seems to go through this annoying "shifting things around" phase after I take a break from working out. I assume I'm doing it now because of the new strength workouts, and the fact that I've started using the heavier band. Do you take measurements, Vini? If so, have they been changing at all?0 -
Vini--- Sometimes if you eat a lot of carbs it will make gain water weight. I am eating clean right now. well kind of. I am just not eating junk food. I was ok with it but during the holidays I ate too much sugar and I started craving it again. I am resetting my cravings by eating healthy. I find that if I cut it all out and eat lots of veggies and protein then I can kick the cravings. It does help to change things up to lose weight. I lost another lb this week because of it. You can try it. I mean what is it going to hurt? Start out slow like eating one clean meal a day and go from there.
I did Hard Core abs today and some weight lifting. I have been reading about how to get stronger so I am only going to do one day a week of short cardio and the rest weights. for a month. I have hit a plateau on my strength and I want to be able to do push ups and pull ups! Trying to eat TDEE for a month to gain muscle then a month of cal deficit.

Hello everyone. I'm doing 55Ez later today. I have also decided to incorporate weight training to my Turbo Fire workouts. I do not want to reach my GW and then have to work on toning up my body. I love Turbo Fire. Chalean is so motivating and I love the music but I need something more in addition to the cardio aspect. My husband lent out our P90X to a friend so he suggested I try his Body Beast. I may try that on my Rest Day or on a light cardio day. I'll let you all know how that turns out.
So, the scale isn't moving much but my inches are coming off like crazy. My clothes are getting looser but I'm not ready to buy anything new yet. It's so cold here in Chicago that it just doesn't matter when all I'm doing in layering to keep the insulation from leaving my body.

Hi ladies, I did stretch 40 and abs 10 today. I am doing my last fire 45ez tomro and then another stretch. Boom! I'll be done with TF 20 weeks. I really liked it, going the whole 20 weeks.I will take the weekend off and start the new program on monday. I will be doing CLX/TF Janelle style for 12 weeks then I maybe trying body beast too! lol my hubby got it and I love intense weight training. I am focusing on more clean eating. I am reading the book and trying to do what she says.I thought I was eating pretty good but looking back I have my good days and bad days. I think the bad out weighed the good I have prayed and thought about it and everywhere I look everything says clean eating so I know that's what I need to do. I think I will have to go cold turkey at it though. Not so good at resisting things. The only thing about that is my kids, they aren't bad eaters by any means and not to picky either but the don't like anything with seasonings. They love to dip everything in ranch. I can't stand the taste of ranch but my hubby loves it and thats how our kids got hooked. One day at a time. Something else I will be trying to do is working out in the morning. I REALLY hate mornings, and I workout in the afternoons now. I think this is going to be so hard for me. I am excited to change it up and hope this motivates me enough to get it done. I have been taking my measurements every 4 weeks and the last time I did I had no change. I will be weighing in on sunday and doing my measurements then. We will see if anything is happening. It is nice to know I am not alone in this and Thanks SO much for your support and words of wisdom. It REALLY means alot to me. Love this group Keep Pushing Play!0

I forgot to say another thing I am doing is trying to be better at eating every 3 hours. I have done this before and it works great. Here lately I have been skipping my afternoon snack then starving by dinner and eating more then I should at one time. It's just not good for me so I will be changing/sticking to that too. Also stel if you are doing scuplt 30/tone 30 you can do it with weights. that's what I did. I am not really a bands person and I kept moving them up in restiance, I liked doing it with weights better and can increase my lbs better to lift more and move more fluently that way. I think you would really like CLX. I know I know I just keep going....... Here is a site that has a ton of different schudles. I thought it was intresting. ENJOY!

Hey all, still dealing with a bit of drama, but such is life. I'm stumbling a bit with getting back on so I'll be repeating week 5 again sometime soon. The good news is that I am not going back to the 170s! I'm at 166 and holding, and once I get back together, I'll be leaving the 160s behind too!

I pushed play and did fire 45ez, Boy did I feel like a rookie. I was getting my groove on when I desided durning the jump rope part to get a drink of water, let me tell you you cannot drink and breathe at the same time. I choked on a mouth full of water and spit it everywhere. Sheez, once I was able to breathe again I had to clean up my mess in order to finish the workout. Then I was doing the dancy song where you pump it and realized I was holding my breath. I stepped on my shoe and it CAME OFF! Ugh, maybe I should repeat the workout tomro. LOL I did get a good sweat on and I had LOTS of engery at the end so I jumped more. Hope you are doing better then I. One good thing is I didn't punch myself, I did that last week. LOL Have a great night all!0

Vin~ You just made me LOL seriously and hoping not to wake anyone up. I hope you're okay now. I hear some of you ladies talk about punching yourselves and I thought "how could that happen?" Well, now I know. Yesterday, I was doing 55EZ and the part right before the "capoirera" when you do a slow punch punch then a quick one...well, I punched my left hand so hard it was numb, I thought my hand was going to fall off. It's okay now. I was able to get through Fire 45 today with no problem.
I also liked your suggestion (Vin) on using hand weights for Sculpt 30/Tone 30. I can never get used to using the bands. I had to switch from the red bands to the green bands because I didn't have proper form. It works for some moves and felt awkward for others, especially the one where she has you in a plank doing triceps pull backs. I kept thinking I'd rather use hand weights instead. So, I will try the hand weights next week and see how it goes.
Tomorrow is Core 20/Stretch 40 and since it's a light day tomorrow...I'm going to try my husband's Body Beast for Legs tomorrow and I'll let you know how that all goes. I just hope that the guy leading it isnt as corny as Tony is.

I survived Body Beast: Build Legs~Boy, did I sweat buckets, I could not see out of my eyes. I lifted heavy since I knew I was working on legs. It was less than 40 minutes long...not too bad. I couldn't do all the reps but I did finish the workout. Looking forward to adding this to the mix on my light days of TF. Then, on my Rest Day, I'm going to try Chalene's Burn Circuit 1 that came with the set.

Tonight I'm hitting Core 20/Stretch 40...I need it after this Body Beast. Yeah...um, corny lines and wierd music. Next time, I'm turning the music off.0 -
Vini HAHAHAHA that was hilarious! You know what I did yesterday when I worked out? I bonked my self on the head with the barbell. LOL It didn't hurt I just laughed at myself because I remember yall saying you punched yourself before and I was all I never do stuff like that and here i was hitting myself. =D

You guys are the BEST you made me laugh real hard. I am SO glad I am not the only one who does stuff like this. It usually dosn't happen often but when it does....... I pushed play today. I did stretch 40 abs 10. Onto resting then look out CLX/TF I am going to get my butt kicked. Keep pushing play and Happy hump day! LOL0

I am going to sleep well tonight. I already did Stretch 40 and my legs are still killing me from Body Beast. I hope I can walk tomorrow. Tomorrow is my 1st day of Week 7. I hope I can get through 55 EZ with my legs. I will have to stretch again before I pass out.

I'm a newbie here. Started turbo fire yesterday and felt so uncoordinated doing Fire 30 class. Today was so skeptical about the short HIIT 15 class. Boy, was I wrong I was completely out of breath during every fire drill and needless to say I totally loved it. The only thing I needed to remind myself was to restrain from sipping water when I'm trying to catch my breath.0

Hello to all my other TF friends! Oh my goodness, I have had a busy week! Both my boys play soccer and we have had soccer every single day this week. Let me start with Monday: no workout; Tuesday Walked/ran 3.5 miles on the treadmill (I wanted to watch my recorded Biggest loser and still get a little workout in), Wednesday: no workout, and Today TF 45EZ..Tomorrow I am going to take a spin class at the gym that I teach at.. Thinking about buying Les Mills Combat and do a TF/Combat Hybrid.. Anyone else try Combat? Anyways, you guys are doing awesome (despite all the little mishaps which I will admit to doing my self as well :blushing: ).. Keep pushing play!!!0 -

Good Morning, All! Newbie here reporting in. Last night was HIIT15 and Tone 30. I was sweating like there was no tomorrow! I also did 30 minutes of cardio during my lunch break at work. Woot! Tonight will be Fire 45 EZ and stretch 10.... perhaps another midday gym session too!

I'm totally off my TF routine for the week, so I'll be repeating Week 13 starting Monday. So I'm not just sitting on my butt for the next few days, I've decided to go jogging at our gym's apartment complex. I was able to jog 2 miles in 24 mins, which I was pretty happy about... but I decided to wear my size 12 workout pants, and I had to pull them up constantly. Thank God there was nobody else in the gym or else they would have been the victim of a crack attack!!!0 -

Thank you all for your warm welcome. Have been offline with my food log for the past week but have been doing TF except for the past 2 days, AF had been terrible this month. Thank you with all my heart Vini9 for checking up on me. I felt really motivated to update and get back on groove so did my HIIT 15 and sculpt 30 workout today. I was cursing all through the workout but felt really rewarding when I was done. Thanks guys....I know I can count on this group. I am seeing my energy level gearing up ....waiting for the inches to drop...SIGH!!!0
