Insanity + other exercises?

Hey!

So Im just wondering whether or not people add other exercises to the insanity plan. I started ripped in 30 the same day I started insanity so I've been working out quite a bit for the past three/four days.
Does anyone else do this?
IS this a good/bad idea?

With Insanity I also did some free weight exercises with 10-12 lbs weights for my arms!
I have never done the 30 day shred so I dont know how intense of a workout it is.
Just make sure you are taking in enough food for energy.

Yeah, my plan is to do two exercises a day if I'm not too exhausted from Insanity. I'm supplementing Insanity with Turbo Fire, Zumba classes at the gym or any dvd I have at home (low impact like walk away the pounds and bellydance)! So far, I've done three days with insanity + another exercise and two days with just insanity. I think as long as we're moving (and doing insanity as scheduled), we'll be good to go :)
  • What are yall classifying Insanity as on here when filling out your exercise records for the day? I don't know what to put it under to get an accurate count of calories burned.

I made it to day 7 but then I stopped. :( Its so hard! lol. I plan on starting back Monday from day 1, and including the meal plan with it!
Thanks for the idea! I really need to get a HRM!

Yes do it! It gets easier everyday (or you get stronger, whichever way works for you).
