What results did you have?

I'm becoming discouraged because of my lack of results in the last 6 weeks. I lost a few inches and some body fat with the first Month but the scale hasn't moved since I started.

I saw an infomercial for the program where people were shedding pounds and it just made me go "WTF am I doing wrong"?
My diary is open, I did just drop my calories to 2000 today so it puts me over on a few past days but I eat the calories outlined in the Nutrition Guide, whole wheat/grains and lots of water.

I was hoping to lose 10 lbs, was that too much? I have 3 more weeks remaining including this week and I'm not going to give it, I'm just a little discouraged.

My first time through Insanity I dropped from 241 to 199. I also ran 3 miles 6 days a week for the first 6 weeks. I was at a 1,000 calorie daily deficit (2 lbs a week). Ate back my running calories. Mostly that happened because I had lots of weight to drop and entered into a very structured lifestyle at the same time. I don't feel like I will lose nearly so much the 2nd time through (now).

I saw a video on the BB site that make things pretty clear, I do need to eat more. I have about 15 lbs left to lose at the most, maybe 20 but I doubt that, so it's just going to be harder to lose it. I upped my cals, still not hungry, and I am losing inches just not the lbs.

2 weeks left in my program after today's workout, whoo hoo!
  • Hi! You might just be gaining muscle if you're not losing weight but still losing inches. And there's nothing wrong with losing inches!

I have a few days left but after bumping up my cals to 2150 (like the BB calculator suggested) and I dropped 3 lbs since that post.
