What's your groom wearing?

Was just helping my man look for wedding shoes online and thought I'd do some research into which shoes look best with a charcoal grey morning suit and whether patents were appropriate since I saw some nice ones in Kurt Geigers sale (apparently they're not , although thinking about it not sure they'd go... anyway )
Found out it's only really the UK where a morning suit is the most common groom dress, apparently in the US it's very rare, so basically I'm curious for whatever nationality you are, what's your man wearing? Tux, frockcoat, elvis jumpsuit? :P
We decided fairly quickly (man shopping :P) on this charcoal Newbury Morning Suit, we saw it online he tried it on and basically said perfect, don't want to try any others... I must have tried on about 30 wedding dresses in 5 shops in a 15 mile radius ;P

With a teal cravat

Unfortunatley I can't get a great pic of his waistcoat but it's ivory with little intricate ivory rose vines
Oh and if anyone knows who does the best mens shoes in the UK please post a link xxx

Ah, that morning suit is so British, I love it.
My groom will be wearing the tux he had made in Vietnam a few years ago (although he'll have to have it freshly tailored)... black, notch labels I think, 1 button. Black bow tie, black button covers cufflinks. White tuxedo shirt, white suspenders (I think you Brits call them braces), probably a black vest (I don't like vests, personally, but it's his wedding too so I told him he could wear whatever he likes). Probably some kind of yellow flower for his boutonniere, since I'll be carrying sunflowers. Patent black shoes.
Our wedding is black tie optional, and in June0 -
Oh fab it's lovely he has his own tux too, would love to buy a morning suit since the hire prices are stomach turning, but they're just soooo pricey
I keep changing my mind on the flower colour too, just 2 weeks left to decide (wedding in March, hope it's not chucking down, I am very jealous of countries with more predictable climates)
My bridesmaids are a teal/dark turquoise colour (same as the cravats), and for the bouquets and button holes I've flipped from oranges to dusky deep pink roses and now spotted some purple arrangements with peacock flowers (although the colour doesn't say early spring but love the contrast with turquoise) AAARRRggghhh lol
As for the cufflinks think my man has his eye on some geeky videogame-esque cuffs ;P

He's going to wear whatever he wants. It's his day too. We are getting married on the beach in Key West, so if he chooses board shorts, that's fine by me. But a tux or suit is probably out of the question.0

Black pants, black shirt and a tie that I will go and buy for him. That's it. I think his groomsment are going to wear black pants white shirts and black ties.0

3 piece Paul Smith suit in grey (light grey) with white shirt and navy satin tie0
-
Tailcoat, waistcoat, trousers (obviously) and a top hat. We've not sorted out colours yet. I'm thinking grey though.0

Fabulous sounding wear, love the chilled idea of board shorts your wedding sounds awesome. Don't worry I realise it's his day too, didn't make my fella choose a morning suit that's what he wants to wear on the day as much as I do a wedding dress, to be fair a morning suit is so traditionally British apart from a kilt, I don't think he even looked at anything else. :P
Oohh love the black shirt and trousers very sexy look!
@thebrazenhead - nice on the Paul Smith suit love the clean lines, fab choice with grey and navy too!!
Our boys are gonna look amazing, cheers for sharing. X0 -
Wow top and tails! Nice! Is the tailcoat a similar cut to the morning suit? X0
-
Very similar, but it's more square at the front. x0

My grooms is wearing jeans, cowboy boots, coral dress shirt , and a black suit coat! Along with his guys all in the same thing but with yellow dress shirts! Since we have having a country barn wedding it fits the day!0
-
No idea! We both wanted our outfits secret from each other, but my dressmaker has gone along with him to pick stuff out, because he wants to make sure we at least match a little bit!0

Mine went with an YSL deep blue suit, white shirt and a tie of... I don't remember which color anymore:)
He looks stunning in it.
Now I'm wondering how my ivory dress will look with his white shirt................. I guess he'll have to keep his jacket on at all times:)0 -
Mine is going for a grey lounge suit with black waistcoat (vest) white shirt and a black bow-tie, groomsmen have the same suit but different waistcoats and awesome bow ties which are black at the front and purple at the back. He didn't want a morning suit but still wanted to look like he put an effort in, he looks awesome in his outfit.0

He's wearing a grey tux by Vera Wang with an ivory vest and shirt. The male attendants will wear the grey tux with a grey vest and ivory shirt. He picked it out, and he looks completely amazing in it!!0
