Developer outsources his job to China

    That's brilliant. :)

    I can't help but think that if he'd been a bit more careful, used some proxies, etc - that no one would have ever noticed.

    Serious props to that guy. Honestly, it's no wonder he got fired, but it was ingenious.

    The sad thing about it is that more and more companies are realizing the same work/better work can be done by outsourcing (not to mention lower wages) and he just went about proving that theory.

    Pretty ingenious, if you ask me. Other than actually sending his credentials to somebody, I wonder if there was any wording in any of his contracts or job descriptions that explicitly said he couldn't sub-contract.
