Hi I have worked nights most of my nursing career. Usually I gain weight working nights. I will be 40 this summer and would like to reach my weight loss goal. All suggestions are welcomed.

Hi, I have been working nights for the past 3 years. I also have had trouble finding a group for night shift workers. Folks that do not work nights do not understand the issues we go through. We are up when they are sleep and vice versa. It has been extremely difficult to keep the weight off. I started back about 10 days ago and have lost 6 pounds. :happy: I make smoothies in my Nutribullet, mostly cook at home, walk, and do my Wii Fit. I try my best not to eat fast food. Sweets are my weakness and I am trying to find substitutions for that or eat snack sizes. I am ok with losing 1-2 pounds per week. Constant positive self-talk has been working so far. I refuse to be this size my next birthday!!0
