So, someone on my FL mentioned the personals the other day. (Short ads in news papers or magazines) And it got me thinking, this is one avenue that I've never tried!! I guess the reason that I favoured dating sites is because there are pictures and longer paragraphs? I dunno. The personal ads all seem rather short and kind of 'impersonal'.
However, perhaps there are still sane people that prefer that method of contact. Especially in respectable broadsheets??
My best friend (male) actually met his wife from a personal ad about 5 years ago.
So, anyone ever responded to one?
Anyone ever placed an ad?
