Hey All!

I am returning to Richmond for The Color Run 5k on Sept 14th. This will be my second Color Run and it was a blast last year! I highly recommend this 5k for beginners and experienced runners alike. The Color Run in Richmond was my first 5k ever last year. I couldn't have picked a better 5k to herald my entrance to the "running" world. I walked most of it and jogged the rest. One of the many good features of this 5k is that it isn't timed so don't come to it expecting to break a personal best, time wise. It is all about having fun and enjoying the experience. The DC Color Runs always fill up too fast but the Richmond one, though a bit further away, is still close and is a nice setup because it is at the international raceway.

Drop me a line if you have any interest in joining my friends and I for this 5k. This will their first 5k so we won't be breaking records but it should be a lot of fun! :).

Have gotten addicted to running and I'm trying to work my way into participating in 5Ks and looking to hook up with others. Want to do something fun and low pressure to start and this sounds like fun. There's also the Run like Diva race scheduled for Sept. 14 in VA http://www.runlikeadiva.com/Events/Divas_Half_Marathon_-_DC_s_Wine_Country.htm
