Excuse the grammar. I was trying to be funny! I started Stronglifts last week and I just completed workout 4. Monday and tonight were the first time I completed to program the way you are supposed to. I find that I am not intimidated in the weights area of my gym and finally figured out how to properly work the power cage.

My whole body is so sore. Tuesday after my workout, I was essentially useless. My muscles just felt fatigued. Is this normal? I have been using the gym machines and lifting as heavy as I could on those for over a year and I still feel like a big wimp. I can barely do the overhead press with just the bar.

I don't feel sore as in I can't walk or feel stiff. I almost feel like I have the body aches when you have the flu. I'm already seeing slight changes in my measurements and I'm really enjoying the program. Thanks for all the help a couple of weeks ago on my diet requirements.

I felt like crap for the first two months
I ended up switching to 2x week while eating at deficit...

Now I' m eating more (TDEE or over TDEE) and have no problem with lifting 3x week.
Stick to it for a little bit more but if the soreness don't go away after 1st month, I would reduce training (2x week, 3x5 not 5x5) or start eating more (in case if weight loss is not your priority)

How's your potassium intake? I used to get soreness (not so much after I got used to it) that was greatly alleviated by some major potassium blasting. Coconut water is a really good source and 60 calories a cup so its not too hard to squeeze in. Try having a cup a day and see if it helps.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I am eating about 1800 calories which is TDEE-15%. I am losing inches and have lost a couple of pounds. I will definitely try the coconut water.
