30 Day Shred - started today

Today, I did the first day and first level of the 30 Day Shred video. My legs are sore, my arms are tired, and my face is ALL SMILES. If anyone would like to join me in 30 days of self-fixing, we should complete it just as this New Year challenge is rolling to a close.

    Wow, I just dusted off my copy of 30DS and was considering doing it...though I was tossing up if I should do it in February or March. If I'm doing it in February I'll start 1 February, but will still definitely add you and see how you go (last time I did this workout I was only able to do 1.5 days before giving up!!! It would be good to have an accountability partner)

    I'm working my way up to starting this today...It's a circus here today with all the kids being home from school due to snow/ice here in PA! I'm also scared because of all the pain I have read about and people giving up...I don't want to be that person. Please feel free to add me! I would like us to be able to get one another through this!

    Are we doing a first day measurements and then at the end put how many inches we lost? I was looking at a 30DS page and they were doing that.

    Well, I just did Day1Level1...Not as scary as I thought...I took beginning measurements before I started to keep track of how may inches I will lose. I will admit i snuck a few sips of water right before,during, or after the cardio parts...I just had to..but I keep listening to Jillian about doing just doing it to get the results...WE CAN DO THIS!!!

    I've done 8 days of Levels 1 AND 2 :smile: Don't know whether to just do Level 3 afterwards or Levels 2 AND 3 :laugh: :laugh:

    Enjoy it! It's so worth it. I definitely lost inches in my waist. Unfortunately, I wasn't recording anything so I can't share progress info :( But I can tell it was working. I could feel it in my clothes, my muscles, everywhere!

    Started Insanity last week. It should last me until the end of this challenge. It's brutal, but definitely a great option once you finish with Jillian Michael's workouts!

    Started today, was absolutely drenched in sweat by the end of it (had to break off for a few seconds to switch on the fan and it hardly even helped!!! lol) but I'm so happy that I was able to get it done. Made a note of my weight/measurements (even took a starting picture) and will compare in about 10 days.

    Any more updates? Today was day 5 for me....I've been seeing a lot of people saying that it got easier after day 3 for them...I'm still waiting for it to get easier....those butt kicks and lunges are still killing me!!!

    Just did day 1 of Level 2 and I'm absolutely smashed!!!!! I was cursing Jillian more than doing anything else!! lol! I think when I enter my exercise for today I'll have to put in .75 of it since I spent a lot of time lying on my stomach crying!! :embarassed:
    On the plus side - after completing level 1(10 days) I'm 1.1kgs (2.4lbs) down and I've lossed a total of 6.25 inches!! Maybe I'll stop cursing Jillian and start thanking her!! lol

    On D2 L3, had to skip level 2 after doing it for four days due to it aggrivating my knees..... Level 3 is pretty intense as well, Looking to do Ripped in 30 next!
