Team Twilight Week 5 Back on Track!

Okay ladies we are heading into week 5! :smooched:

January has been a great month, we are doing terrific, lots of progress has been made, and we have just one week left until February.
Our challenge will continue to focus on staying hydrated and getting plenty of nutrients from our food.
We are adding Fiber to the food part of our challenge. And some more fun exercise to the fitness portion of our challenge.
:drinker: H20. 8/8 oz glasses per day
:flowerforyou: Strive for Five / Eating all the Colors of the Rainbow
:huh: Fiber 25 grams per day (you can average it through out the week if needed)
:glasses: Fitness: 90 minutes. you may either continue with the Twilight movie activity, or you may choose to use any other tv show/movie to get your exercise mojo working. For example, Big Bang Theory is on numerous times a week. 30 minute show. You could exercise thru the entire show and/or listen for certain buzzwords "Bazinga" or "holy Crap"! that dictate a change in exercise move. Its totally up to you.
:bigsmile: Balance...good balance helps prevent accidents. Lets work on our inner Bella. Try some yoga moves, like tree pose, or you can get some ideas from this YouTube clip.

Sharing: find a way to relate what you eat or what you do this week back to the Twilight Saga. This should be interesting!!!

H20. 6 cups so far but the night is still young.
Rainbow...today my rainbow was very orangish! Apple, peaches, cara cara orange.
No cardio or balance today. I am sore from doing weights yesterday! Good sore.

Sharing: whenever I see an apple, I like to think of Twilight in the scene where Edward bounces the apple off of his shoe in the school cafeteria. Something I clearly could not do, it would go haywire, and probably bounce into the mean kid's pudding! I wonder how many times they had to take that shot. :bigsmile:0 -

Fiber 28/25 grams - this might be a hard one for me, but I'll try to improve my daily intake if I can't get to 25gm

Balance...I managed a few 'wall sits' today, since my pilates class was cancelled, I'm finding myself channeling my inner Bella a little too often
Sharing: I'll go with my obvious share for today, my rainbow was pretty green today, which reminds me of Forks (or Edward's human eye color (or was that just in fanfic?))
Official weigh-in is tomorrow morning. personal goal for this week from my beginning of the year blog is working on getting more sleep. I've been very bad keeping to my "be in bed at least 8 hours before the alarm is going off' goal I set for myself. It's supposed to be mid 50's tomorrow, so after my chiropractor appointment & grocery shopping if it's not raining, I'm going to go for a walk. If it is raining, I'll just mall walk with my 'sis'0 -

:bigsmile: Balance none today.Sharing: on my way to work I stopped at the coffee shop and when I got out of the car, it had started to rain and there was a big shot of lightening. The thunder was pretty far off in the distance but it was rumbling. I am pretty sure I could hear Alice say, 'Its time!'

the only positive about today is that I got my water in, although half was in green tea form. Ohio weather is giving me a nasty sinus infection. It's 60 out now, high of 56 tomorrow, then thursdays high is 25 with an inch of the white flaky crap expected.
Today was honestly one of those days that started positive then went downhill quickly because of this stupid cold. I had to force myself to get above 1200, most of the day I wasn't hungry, then if I was, I couldn't be bothered with fixing anything using the 'if I can't taste it, why bother' logic0 -

Okay, I admit it...I suck! It's been a horrible week of overeating, stress eating, binge eating, PMS eating, and sitting on my lazy behind while wallowing in a bad mood. I think I've kicked the mood now and I'm trying to find my way back to sanity.

Strive for Five: not so good today, however did have red & green peppers in my fajita quesadilla

Fitness: 54 minutes total

Week ending totals
Water -- all good. The weather is warmer, so it's easier to drink enough.
Strive for 5 -- I bought some mushrooms at the Farmers' Market, so I finally got in all my colors.
Fiber -- over 25 grams each day
Fitness -- 120 minutes at Curves + 2 hours of playing pool.
Balance. -- read an article about balance. It had a test of how long you can balance. It said the average is 36 seconds for someone my age, but I quit after a minute.
