only any use to our american/canadian friends at the moment - i've been following this one for the last few months - they aren't shipping outside of continental north america at the moment...

    from their Website...

Thank you for your interest in the Stages Power meter. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to those outside of the US and Canada at this time. As a new company, and US based manufacturer, we've made the decision to only sell to North America until we're comfortable growing to support the demand and product outside of that area. We want to ensure we can support our customers in the highest quality manner and we cannot do this until we have our systems in place in other countries.

Please feel free to contact us with any other questions or register for our mailing list to receive updates on our product and distribution.

also, it's not particularly accurate if you have a discrepancy in power output between legs, as it measures strain in the "non drive side" crank and doubles it for total power. IIRC the SRM system measures at the "spider" which means it gets the data independently from each leg. Generally, it's not a big problem, but for example, in my case, according to my last lab-rat test i've something like a 8% discrepancy (46L 54R) as the aftermath of a crash nearly 20 years ago so the stages unit would only ever measure 92% (2xL) of my power figures. Not a biggie, as long as it's consistent, but something to take into account.

For the price though, if it turns out to be accurate in it's measuring, it could be something of a powertap wheel killer! At $800 for the Ultegra crank-only (just over £500) if they had them in stock at CRC I'd have the credit card out right now!
