So, I measure routinely (neck, full bust, under bust, waist, hips, seat, thigh, upper arm) but since I've just noticed I have actual muscle and stuff on my shoulders now, I was wondering if there was a way to measure that to track progress?
This morning is a classic example of why I measure: my net cal deficit for the week was 1700 if I'm generous, my weight was stable, but I've lost 0.5" off each of my hips & seat, and I can finally see musclulature in my upper arms and shoulders. If I'd just looked at the scales, I'd have been somewhat miserable.
Also, "the girls" seem bigger over the last few weeks, even though I've lost weight in that time. I'm assuming I've improved the underlying muscles so they appear perkier?

i think pictures are the best, to see progress there, but my trainer used to wrap the measure around my shoulders (just overall circumference) to measure there0
