Anybody out there doing the winter commute thing? Studded tires working well. Not very good in the slush....doubt anything is. It warmed up and softened up the shoulder of the road, so I have to wait for the next cold snap which will be in 2 days. Haven't ridden on the beach yet this year. Should be flawless after the re-freeze. Lake Michigan beach in the winter is like riding on a trail when the sand is frozen. Awesome workout.

I dont often commute , but I do ride every day.
However winter in the UK is much like summer but with different colour trees... rainy and muddy.

We did get some snow last week (2-3 inches) country came to a halt.
Its now back to about 13/14 °C

Hitting the trainer tonight. Roads should be frozen enough in the morning to ride into work (about 7 miles). Yee haw!

The snowmobile trails are fun to ride on, but they aren't safe to ride on weekends because some of those riders are worse than some car drivers on the road. The snow gets packed hard from the grooming machine, so you can easily get a good 10 mile ride in.
