I'm sure this has been posted before, however I have been diagnosed with a severe gluten intolerance as well as other food items. Just wondering if you had suggestions as to brands of products, recipes for homemade all purpose flour mix (or a brand that you recommend) to help me out. My son is allergic to nuts (including coconut) so any of those flours are out as well as flax.

Thanks so much!

Udi's for bread/buns/bagels etc. At our grocery store its kept frozen, not sure if its like that everywhere.

Bobs Red Mill has a pretty good All-purpose flour for baking, and I've heard (but never used myself) that "Pamelas" has some good mixes.

Have you ever bought "Enjoy Life" foods for your son? They are all gluten/peanut/treenut free, as well as . Not sure about coconut though.

I've posted this website so many times I think she may start to think I'm a stalker, but the blog www.artofglutenfreebaking.com has been a big part of my being successful at eating gluten free. She has great recipes and a great gluten free all purpose flour mix that has worked really well for me (even my picky and definitely NOT gluten free husband has enjoyed the "regular" foods I make with her help). She has a wheat allergy, her daughter is allergic to peanuts and soy and her husband is allergic to almonds and lemon. Her recipes are definitely adaptable!
