I wasn't able to find anything on here for other mom's so I figured I would post my story and see if anyone else has the same thing.
I am currently pregnant with my second SUA baby and am due the end of April. With my first, I was diagnosed with it during my first ultrasound, went to see a perinatologist, and everything came out okay. Towards the end of my pregnancy i did have to go in for non-stress tests 2 times a week, but i went full term. I was induced at 40 weeks and 4 days with a healthy baby boy weighing 6 pounds 11 ounces. He is now 3 and has no issues other than just being on the smaller side (has always been 10-20th%).
So far this pregnancy she was diagnosed the same time as my first, but she also had a little bubble of fluid on her brain. Went to see the specialist to confirm and she does have the SUA, but the bubble had disappeared. During my regular OB visit yesterday, they found that the vein in the umbilical cord was enlarged, but she is growing good and weighed 2# 12oz at 28 weeks. I don't know how enlarged it is, but I have to go back to the specialist on Wednesday. I am a little worried about her, but she seems to be growing good, and is very active, so I guess we will see what the specialist says.
