Tonight is my Valentine's Day date with my husband! We're going to go out to dinner then see Identity Thief! Will probably be drinking at both dinner AND in the movie (you can get drinks delivered to you during the movie, pretty sweet!). Then tomorrow night is my friend/cousin-in-law (is there such a thing? My husband's cousin)...it's her BACHELORETTE PARTY!! Woo hoo!!! I know it's going to get a little out of hand being with all my friends...but it'll be a blast! Can't wait to sport my hot pink wig (DRESS CODE: Black Dress & Wig...MANDATORY).

Doing Valentine's date night with my hubs tonight too =} Drinks in the movie sounds awesome! There's a bar at our theater but you can't bring drinks into the movie, lame. Have fun tomorrow, sounds like a blast!

Too much wine last night, oops. Typing from my new iPad mini =} for the husband who said he doesn't celebrate Valentine's day he sure gives nice gifts <3 we're going out for dinner tonight to celebrate and a little hair of the dog will help  not to mention my favorite bread with garlic infused olive oil and red wine vinegar, mmmmmm.

    Happy Friday lushes! :drinker:

Our theatre is called Warren Theatre. It's actually a franchise (well...more of a monopoly in our city). All of the other theatres you can't drink in the movie, but the one that is downtown you can. We like that one best! Get a pitcher of beer & you're set! Plus the leg room is excellent & the seats are SUPER comfy!!

Husband and I split 2 bottles of this yummy white at dinner then I had 2 glasses of prosecco with dessert. Our waiter who now knows us because we go so often said to us that he loved that we actually like to drink haha. Husband said it's easy when we come here because it's right down the road from our house, we could walk if we had to. We said we like to just sit and not feel rushed and they don't ever make us feel rushed at Cavey's  Going to Wild Wings for lunch but won't be sitting and drinking for 6 hours like last time because it's girls day!!

Hope everyone has a good weekend :drinker:

We're doing VD on Sunday. Kel's birthday is Tuesday so we usually combine the two...I'm taking him to this place http://www.johnhollysasianbistro.com/
He likes sushi and I don't, so it's the best of both worlds. Also, he teaches Holly...which is the Holly of John Holly and we have a gift cert.

ugh. just lost long post. here is take two.

    ALOHA LUSHES!

Mama lush is home. Great time in Kauai. They have an awesome home grown rum that we drank a lot of. good food and lots of fun. Ziplines, lots of major hikes, Airplane tour, kayaking and snorkeling. The kids went horseback riding but I couldn't go because I had a problem. (TMI and I apologize but here goes. The Sudafed I was taking for my cold dried me out too much. Sunday I strained  and caused a MAJOR hemoroid issue. I was in agony all week and couldn't fathom sitting on a horse:noway: ) I am glad to be home even though I still can't sit comfortably  )

First class was awesome and we drank the whole flight both ways.

Starting this morning with a greyhound and then I will think about being good.

Welcome home robin! And omg...how painful...the only thing i can relate it to was after i pushed for 3 hours during childbirth...wowsa at the hemorrhoid after that! :noway: I'm glad you still managed to have fun. And LOL between the 2 of us...we probably scared away any new posters in here for a while with TMI.

Only had 2 vodkas with the anniversary dinner last night. Sampled many beers at the brewery. I tried to like them, but just couldn't. Sorry beer lovers! I didn't mind the summer blonde. Which is ironic since I'm such a summer kinda blonde girl. but id still rather save those calories for food or several shots of vodka. :drinker:

Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone...especially those with Monday off!

I drank all week. I moderated relatveily well. Untill Saturday. Had a beer before dinner, beer while waiting on our table, 3 beers at dinner (I had some kind of 7.5% winter white, then 3 Delerium 7.5% things) then 3 of us drank 2.5 bottles of wine after dinner at our house. I don't remember going to bed. But I took my BCP, brushed my teeth, and washed my face, so I wasn't way way way drunk. Still, it makes my schmamered list. I felt like crap yesterday. My hangover kept coming and going and was the worst before my 9pm bedtime (which is very early for me). So I have gotten drunker than I planned once this month. I'd like that to be it. Yesterday was a 0, and I plan on 0-1 through at least Wednesday. There's an open bottle of Malbec on the counter and some wheat beer in the fridge.....

Mama's back!!! *runs around wildly* My brother or married in Kauai...so beautiful! I couldn't drink though, because I was knocked up with Declan. Damn kid... I did, however, eat my weight in pineapple.

    I've been mellow this weekend...

    Sunday - 0
    Monday - 0

I considered some of that Malbec last night, but refrained. I'm going to try for a 0 again tonight, but I'm making spaghetti squash so that may need a glass of red.....

So sunday turned into 1 small glass of white, 2 smallish glass of red at the party, 2 beers at dinner, then we stopped on the way home and had another flight of beer, then a small glass of wine at home.
Monday-4 large pineapple and sprite zeros.
Tonight and tomorrow will be nothing.
Thursday we are going out for Len's bday, so probably two glasses of wine at dinner.

Welcome back Robin! Hope you feel better soon!!!

Been super lushy for the past 7 days. V-day, gf's 25th anniversary party and parents visiting from Chicago, kind of felt like I should be on vacation.

I actually feel disgusting today. Tomorrow is official weigh-in day and it's going to be a reality slap.

Robin, trip sounds amazing. If you ever have that problem again, try the slimming teas. They are pretty much guaranteed to get you moving. :blushing:

So, here's the plan: total abstinence until SPD which is also my anniversay and a party bus bachlorette party that--really-feel-to-old-to-be-doing-but-giving-it-my-best-shot.

Monday, 1.5 glasses of wine with lunch, 32 old Dos Equis, 4 12 oz-ish margs (<<<<<<<this is embarrassing)
    Tuesday, 0

    Total: 8.5

We had a great three day weekend in Sunriver Oregon with friends. Good food and drinks and company. Sat in the hot tub in the evening under starry skies and crisp 28 degree weather. Was wary about the scale this morning but was only up a pound.

Okay, I'm not on an iPad so I can type freely. So, I mentioned that I've been mellow--meh, depends on mellow. lol

Friday I had a vodka drink and one vanilla porter. Saturday night I had 2 beers and about 3 red bull/vodkas. We were at the neighbor's playing darts and we drink like crazy when we do that. I actually fell asleep on the couch next to Delaney and she stayed up later than I did--she was watching a movie and I swear, I just fell asleep!! I took her home, put her to bed, got the baby monitor, and went back for and hour before the cold (we play in the garage...we're in Colorado) got to me. So, I went home, took a bath and watched an episode of Doctor Who. I'm crazy.

Today is Kel's birthday (it's the start of the 4 month period where I'm only 3 years older than he is...) so we went out on Sunday. We had a couple of drinks at home, I had one at the resturant, and then we came home and watched Big Bang Theory and drank. Again, we're so crazy!! We were kidless, but after we ate our weight in lobster, we were sleepy and wanted some drinks, but didn't feel like paying for it, then paying for a cab later.

We did have to get up and be in a movie the next day, so if anyone asks, we went home early to be "camera ready."

Just one Lugene choco-milk stout last night.
