I have been on mfp for several months and have recently discovered this website. i am looking for as many encouragers as possible as i start this weightloss journey. this past year i gained around 15-20 lbs. my bf was deployed and i had a very stressful work environment and the lbs piled on. i am 25, 5'7 and my SW was 185 and my GW is 140 .i have lost around 7-9 lbs just by cutting out alcohol and i box 1-2 times per week. i signed up for my first 5 K for the end of march.
