Injury? Take week off or lower weight?

I'm pretty sure I slightly pulled a muscle in my groin (?) from doing squats at 110lbs. I also noticed a pain in my back after doing a 135 deadlift. It wasn't terrible but I couldnt finish even one set of over-head presses because my back would hurt and I didn't want to push it. Both of these happened saturday. I havent had any pain today. I'm trying to decide if I should take a week off, or try and do some lighter weight. I havent really read up on de-loading, but I feel like I'm getting close to that point anyway, especially with the overhead press and deadlift.
So, should I take a week to let any healing happen, or should I just try to use the lighter weight? I'd hate to stop since I'm making good progress in the strength department. Still not losing weight or inches though. Im 14 workouts in.

I would go in and do your first warmup set. If that causes pain - I'd just leave it alone for that day. If it feels a little sore or stiff, but not injured, I'd do your next warmup and see how that is. Then just do it by feel - if its still a little stiff, but basically
Ok, do a deload like 10-20%. If its feels fine, just keep goig0
