Anyone have a pet named after a sci-fi/fantasy/super hero character?

    3 Cats - Loki (The Avengers, God of Mischief), Doyle (from Angel) and Oz - Osbourne (from Buffy)

    If and when I get another dog he or she may be named Stormageddon - Dark Lord of All, or Stormy for short :)

    I have a cat named Pippin, and at one point a litter of kittens (took in mamacat... all are spayed/neutered now) named Kaylee (the most tomboyish, and obsessed with food), River (long haired and quiet), Jayne (big and dumb), Badger (looked like a badger) and Shepherd Book, shortened to Shep (dark with long hair that stuck out in every direction). I kept River and Shep, but the name didn't suit him, even though he was... fuzzy about kneecaps. Tried naming him Mal. That didn't work either. Tried a few more before the name Trevor was the winner. (Neville Longbottom's toad!)

    And a one-eyed Pekingese named Beavis.

    I have a rat named Padmé, one named Lain from the anime Serial Experiments Lain, one named Tobi from Naruto, and a cat named Kyo from Fruits Basket.

    And on top of them, I just have a rat named Tsuki, a cat named Amadeus, and a fish named Sophocles. I don't really think those are that geeky, just names that I like.

    I have a kitten called Harley-Quinn (batman) and my housemates kitten is Ghost (from pacman game). Most of the time mine is just Harley but she'll get her full name sometimes- particualrly if she's naughty! will attempt to post pic shortly.

    We had a Rottweiler named Topanga from the geeky, sweet girl on Boy Meets World (US tv show from the 90's).

    Edit: OH! I had a cat named Binky (shortened from Jar Jar Binks)!

    I dunno... Spartacus.. Because well HBO Spartacus... Thought it was fitting because we adopted him and he came from an abusive home, but survived... Like a warrior.

    I also named my hedgehog (she passed though) Kim, for the original Pink Power Ranger :tongue:

    I had a cat named Mowgli (from: The Jungle Book).... not that geeky, when/if I get a new cat (black) I was thinking Drizzt (dark elf from: R. A. Salvatore books).

    Have one cat named Yoda as he has the pointy tufted ears of his namesake but unfortunatley lacking his Jeid proweress (most clumsy cat I've ever known), his departed (and dearly missed) brother was Odin, as he ruled our house like the Norse god he was named after.
