Hip and Rib Lumps

Does anyone else have lumps in there hips or ribs that feel like tumors and are painful?
I have this lump in the hip that is tumor like, I have been to the doctor for it and I have gotten many different answers about what it is. I also have lumps under my ribs that feel like tumors that make my ribs protrude out. I just want to know if any one else is having this same problem?

    Have they ever done an ultrasound? I have no theories on this one.

    No - my first thought is a lipoma maybe - I get these in my abdominal area.

    Yes i have them, they are all over my rib cage. I have had them looked at by a surgeon and 2 internal medicine doctors and they have all said the same thing that they are benign fatty tumors.

    Seconding lipomas. They're common in people in general, not just PCOSers. I have one under my ribs on the right. It's the size of a large gumball.

    Oh wow, I've never heard of that but these ladies seem to have your answer... Just wanted to say I'm glad you saw a doctor about it and it's not cancer or anything. Is it an option to get them removed?
