I figured I'd go ahead and start a weekly challange. If you complete this challange you gain points which will add up to rank!
Each rank requires a set number of points and accomplishing goals and challanges adds points which will increase your rank. Everyone starts off as a Recruit. Kinda like how we are now.
By completing the weekly goals and challanges by 23:59pm Saturdays you'll receive points. If you do not participate in the challange in some form you will be demoted a paygrade and after 5 nonparticipations consecutively you will receive a "Dishonorable Discharge" and will have to begin back at recruit status.
The points will be awarded as followed
These following points are awarded a maximum of 1pt a week per item. An example would be if you log in on monday, wednesday, and friday, you'd only receive 1pt for the whole week. You only need to complete each item once per week to receive the point. Those who complete these everyday run the chance of "Being recommended by a superior for promotion" and may move up in one full rank just for doing it!
Logging in- 1pt
Weigh in- 1pt
Blog- 1pt
Vlog- 2pts
Post in group message board- 1pt
Complete daily food/exercise- 1pt
Total possible pts- 7
The next points are awarded once you complete an activity
weekly challenge- 5pts
PT Challenge- 3 pts
Talk to a Recruiter- 20 pts
Recruit a new member- 10pts
Attend weekly meeting- 5pts
Now your rank will be determined by which branch you will choose, but all will have the same paygrade amount. The points next to the paygrade are the amount of points you need to obtain to reach that paygrade. Each time you are promoted your points are deducted and the remaining points go towards your next advancement and you have to earn the points again to move to the next paygrade.
Example, you earned 12 pts this week and have been promoted from a recruit to an E1-Private. You now have 2 points and need to earn 18 more to be promoted to the an E2
Current Points-Promotion Points=Remaining Points
Remaining Points+New Points= Current Points
Recruit- 0pts
E1- 10pts
E2- 20pts
E3- 30pts
E4- 40pts
E5- 50pts +90% or better on Promotion Test*
Hopefully that makes some sense too you!
*Promotion test is required to advance past E4 into E5. The test will test your knowledge on ranks and general knowledge on the branch you are joining*
