Hi UK-ers!

I just wondered if anyone knew of a good place ( online or otherwise) to buy nuts, seeds, dried fruit , grains etc - basically holland and Barrett but not so expensive!

I love all whole foods like that but they are so expensive!!

Thanks :)

  • You could have a look on ebay - sounds weird but I got some vanilla beans and other baking stuff on there for way cheaper than the shops.

Holland & Barrett are doing a penny sale until 14th Feb. Buy first product at normal price and you get the second for a penny.
Check out the calories for the chocolate covered brazil nuts before you buy though! Unlike me.... Oops.

Costco is normally pretty good if you have a membership or know someone who is.

Watch out for dried fruit being coated in sugary syrup and sweetener. Sometimes the supermarkets can be good for nuts and grains. I use them to make my own tub of linseed, flaxseed, sunflower seeds and so on which I then take to work each day and also throw on some foods I eat.
  • Holland & Barrett. Everytime the penny sale is on.

Other then that just the normal super market.

Saying that I have just been having almonds. Keep my sweet tooth in check
