guess i'll quit lurking

:) I just finished week 4!! Would love any additional friends that are doing this, too! So far I love it.

I'm a former Insanity junkie...I'm also a runner (well, not long distances). My goals with SL are to maintain the muscle that I have while losing some body fat. All that cardio was just making me grumpy...and taking too long...and not getting me the body that I wanted. I absolutely was one of those girls that thought that cardio would give me the perfect body...and, as you know, boy was I wrong! Hoping I'm headed in the right direction now.

Thanks for all of the great advice you've given me through the message boards!!

    I :heart: :heart: :heart: stronglifts! I'm only in my 3rd week and already see results. I am a cardio hater!! I refuse to go forever to nowhere on a treadmill or eliptycal (sp?). I still can't squat with bar but I'm at least doing 5x5 and breaking parallel! Again, I :heart: :heart: :heart: stronglifts!

    Welcome! Don't be shy in the check in and chat thread. I can't be the only one that gets a little motivation on my not so motivated days by seeing other ladies kick butt.
