OK. I'm not new to the GF thing. I've been trying to stay that way for over two years now. But lately I've been having an odd thing happen. Just starting since I've been dieting, which I started in November, I've been having dizzy spells. I've had my blood sugar done and it is never bad. But I seem to be bottoming out more and more often and always in the afternoon, I almost passed out at Wal Mart yesterday and had to buy a candy bar to get it to stop. I was just wondering if anyone else is having an issue like this. And just wondering what would be the best thing to eat that would keep my blood sugar normal, or at least alleviate the dizziness. Thanks :)

I eat oatmeal and quinoa. (Separately, of course) Both seem to help me.

I've noticed since I've eliminated gluten from my diet that my blood pressure has gone down quite a bit, so that may be what you're experiencing as well. Even my doctor was surprised with that one....

Getting dizzy is one of my many symptoms when I accidentally eat gluten. I wonder if you have added something new for you diet w/hidden gluten.

If it is something with your sugar, white chicken or turkey (protein) would be a good choice. Make sure you are also drinking lots of water.

My Dad cannot have ANY sugar at all. When he accidentally eats sugar he gets dizzy and has passed out.

    Good luck.

    Wow yeah thats no good.

Maybe I need to reevaluate and make sure I'm not accidentally glutening myself. And my blood pressure, I don't know I never check it cause its never been a problem. Hmm.. What I need to do is find a new Doctor, who might help me out. lol

Here's another question to consider. Have you been eating a lot more fruit since changing your diet? If I get too much fructose, I get hypoglycemic, get very faint/lightheaded.
