Howdy fiber-folk
So in a moment of bravado after a few drinks I told a friend I would knit her something to wear over her wedding dress about 3 weeks before her wedding because she couldn't find what she wanted. I did it. but i'm so scared i haven't knit since (about 2 weeks, big no-knit gap for me!)
Mahoosive note to self, no drunken-promises-knitting ever again!

    oh its done and dusted and i went to the wedding and everything. phew. this was just a wee cautionary tale that's all! it would have been ok except it was lace weight mohair, and i've never knit with it before, like spinning a web. yikes.
