Ok so I started the SL 5 x 5 yesterday. Technically this is a rest day then...BUT I have to have my daughter @ the YMCA for 2 hrs tonight and I don't want to just sit there. Is cardio ok?

Low intensity steady state cardio's fine, knock yourself out. 2 hours is a lot though. I'd maybe take a book to just sit for at least part of that. I also wouldn't try to do anything really strenuous like HIIT or stair running or turn the resistance on the elliptical way up.0

lol.. I should have clarified. I have to BE there for 2 hours I'll only do cardio for at most half....maybe a leisurely 5K on the treadmill (while reading my homework for school0

I agree with the low intensity steady state cardio. I did attempt to go all out on my rest days and it was not pretty! Lifting is way more important that crazy cardio in my opinion!0
