...my abs are getting a killer workout with this cough.
There's a few of us laid-up, so let's try to find some positives, however tiny!

heh well i finally lost some water weight after nonstop lifting for a month, 3x a week. i took a week off (nose would not stop dribbling. thought it would be uncool to drip all over the racks) and got back into it yesterday, with no real losses on strength so yes!0

You also have time to MISS lifting! When I took an exercise break I missed it so bad and had a completely renewed motivation to get back at it!0

I already said this in another thread, but I think part of the reason I haven't had to deload yet is my monthly colds. I tried to lift through the first one I got. Well not through the whole thing, but went back when I was "mostly better," and it made my cold last another week. Now I just wait till it's over over. I can OHP like a boss so I think I have my time off to thank.0

I'm definitely missing lifting, Vegas.
Fittree, glad to hear you don't lose strength. There's hope for me yet when I eventually get back to the weights...0 -
I did week 5 with a virus and i swear it made it last longer...AND then it came back as a full-blown sinus infection. Finally got antibiotics yesterday. And YES i'm sure I"ll lift tomorrow! For some reason i just really don't want to skip. And now that I have meds it will finally go away.0
