Stupid V-Day Cards

So yesterday I mailed BB a V-Day card. It’s been years since I bought a man something for V-day and shopping for a card was an interesting experience for me.
As expected, there were all kinds of great cards for men to give women. But for women to give men? Not so much. They appeared to come in two flavors, neither of which are really appropriate for my situation:
1. You are the most amazing perfect loving husband in the world. We’re not married, so that cuts out most of the cards right there (do girlfriends NOT give their boyfriends cards? I think they’d be MORE likely to do so when dating bc they get married and find out the guy really doesn’t care).
2. And the “non husband” cards were all about “you are my everlasting true love, my soul mate, someone I love more than all anything else in this world forever and always.” I really do love this man, but I’m not gonna send him a card that says I love him more than anything because… well… that honor currently goes to my son. I hope BB (or someone else if he doesn’t work out) will eventually take little man’s place as the person I love most in this world, but that’s just not the case as of today.
So I settled on a simple unisex one with pooh bear and piglet (sooo manly, lol) and stuffed it with a quote from princess bride and a gift cert for something I know he really enjoys.

Oh, haha, there WAS this one that said “I really, really LIKE you. Happy Valentine’s day.” HUH??? I would be so mad if a guy gave me that card! I guess that goes in line with that other card someone posted (I saw it earlier but can’t find it now)
Maybe we should post pics here of the funniest (or lamest) cards we've seen0 -
More from The Oatmeal because awesome. These are actually cards you can buy.
That'll do for now I think.0 -

The ones from women to men definitely suck. I ended up getting one that has a kitty and says, "You know what I like about you?"
And you open it up and it says something along the lines of, "No... Really... Do you?" then.... "Happy Valentine's Day!"
I saw one from a man to a woman that had me laughing. It said something like, "Happy Valentine's Day. I just want to wrap my arms around you in a warm embrace.... And reach down to grab your butt."0
