For the female anxiety sufferers I am curious does anyone else see a rise in anxiety around the time of your period or just after? I have my panic attacks under control all month but they sneak back during these times of the month...

Hand waving up in the air!!!!!!

I can tell when I'm pms'ing REALLLLLLY bad because the slightest things set me off to want to punch a wall, or cry. In fact, I blew up at my husband and brother this past weekend, and told them that if they didn't start doing the dishes (meaning just loading them into the dishwasher), that I was going to start throwing them all away and we'll only have paper plates.

Husband blew me off, and kept playing on his flight sim. Brother now has the fear of God struck into him. Guess who's heard it all before...... lol!!!!!!

I notice I get more antsy and my hands sweat more than normal around that time, too.

I think it's perimenopause because I am in control until that time of the month and then I lose it. I take Ativan just when my anxiety flares up otherwise I will be visiting the ER thinking I am dying.
